HEM Abroad

HEM Abroad is an exclusive network meeting for executives of HEM member universities, which takes participants on a multi-day international (mainly European) study trip. The focus is on direct exchange with relevant actors from universities and politics along a defined topic.

The aim of «HEM Abroad» is to provide a deeper insight into specific issues of higher education development in the respective national context. On the basis of this exchange, solutions to the current challenges in the field of higher education should be developed. The insights gained and the results of these intensive dialogues are intended to contribute significantly to a better understanding and strengthening of the position of the Swiss higher education landscape in all its diversity and dynamism.
