The Association Higher Education Management (HEM) is a peer-to-peer community dedicated to higher education management. The association provides a platform for the exchange of experiences and best practices at different levels of management. In a framework of trust, members have access to comprehensive know-how and can jointly contribute to solving current challenges in higher education development.

The Mission of HEM

1) As a platform we offer the leaders of the member institutions opportunities to exchange ideas.

2) As a peer community, we work within a framework of trust and ensure an uncomplicated and sustainable networking of stakeholders and institutions.

3) As a practice and knowledge network, we take care of the central challenges of higher education development, follow current trends and initiate a joint solution-finding by means of continuous and dialogical work.

4) As a network of experts for higher education management, we offer reflection spaces for inter-institutional and inter-disciplinary dialogue.

5) As an association of managers, we promote a low-threshold type of collaboration and collectively look for innovative and pragmatic implementations.
